My older sister and I are 8 years apart. I'm 17 and she's 26. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister to death, we are so close…I love her and her husband and kids so much but I can't help to be a little jealous.

When Danielle (my sister) was 15, a few German exchange students came to her school, one of them being a guy, Lukas. She never even talked to him or saw him when he came, but a year later when she was 16 and he was 17, he messaged her online somewhere and they started talking. They became so close and video chatted for hours each day for months. Even though they were so far away, they really fell for each other. Some times things would happen, they would stop talking and date other people but my sister always loved him. My sister is African American and so beautiful and he's a blue eyed blonde haired German and they really loved each other for who they were. When my sister was 18 and out of highschool, they finally met and fell even deeper in love with each other. Fast foward 7 years and now guess what, they are MARRIED with two gorgeous babies (Anja my neice is 2 and Sebastian is 3 months old) living in this amazing condo in New York City. They've pretty much been with each other for years.When I see them together, their love radiates, you can see how much they love each other. They are such a beautiful, fun, funny couple, it's amazing to watch. They are also amazing parents, and they look so cute together. They are just so happy and their love story is incredible, that it's almost unreal how everything worked out.

I'm almost 18 and I've never had a serious relationship, and I feel like i'm the only one. It makes me kind of sad and I feel hopeless that I'll ever find someone that I truly love and will be with forever.Even my parents met when they were younger so it's almost embarrassing because I feel like my parents want me to have a relationship. Do you think this can ever happen?
