It seems like you should be able to just cancel the tags but my parents are saying that you have to transfer them. I cant do that because i dont have another car to transfer them to and i can't drive this car in the winter (not safe, rear wheel drive with a lot of power) so there is no point in paying insurance, the car is garaged all through the winter. They say that i will get a huge fine for not having insurance on the car while it is tagged because they do random checks. I live in Ohio, is this true?
